Daily chemical grade cold water soluble hydroxypropylmethylcellulose belongs to a class of non ionic polymers, which are mainly made from natural high molecular cellulose as raw materials to obtain non ionic cellulose ether. Meanwhile, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a tasteless, non-toxic, and odorless white powder substance that can be quickly dissolved in cold water, and then forms a transparent, viscous solution with excellent water retention performance, thickening, adhesion Characteristics such as emulsification, dispersion, film formation, suspension, adsorption, gelling, surface activity, and protective colloid. Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) is abbreviated as HPMC in English, and has various common names, such as instant thickener, emulsion stabilizer, stabilizing thickener, antifreeze thickener, dispersion thickener, and instant cellulose.

Daily chemical grade cold water instant HPMC is generally used in daily chemical washing products, cosmetics, textile chemicals and other industries. For example, we often use products with HPMC, such as facial cleanser, shampoo, lotion, shampoo, gel, cream, toothpaste, mouthwash, bubble water, conditioner, styling products, etc. The starting viscosity time in normal temperature tap water is 3 minutes, while in pure water, the starting viscosity time will be slower, about 30 minutes. This leaves sufficient operating time for convenient viscosity control and application.

Daily chemical grade cold water soluble hydroxypropylmethylcellulose has the following product characteristics:

1. Excellent water retention performance. HPMC has hydrophilic properties, and can maintain a high water retention effect when added to paste, paste, and paste products.

2. Cold water soluble hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose HPMC uses natural raw materials, with relatively mild properties, low irritation, and environmental safety.

3. The pH is relatively stable, and the viscosity in aqueous solutions is generally stable in the range of pH 3.0 to 11.0.

4. The aqueous solution of the product has surface activity, has properties and functions such as emulsification, protective colloid, and relative stability. The surface tension of the product is about 2%, and the aqueous solution is 42-56dyn/cm.

5. Thickening and water solubility, capable of rapidly dissolving in cold water, in some organic solvents, and in mixtures with organic solvents.

6. Increasing viscosity: When a small amount of dissolution is added, a transparent viscous solution is formed, which has stable performance and high transparency. The solubility changes with viscosity. The lower the viscosity, the greater the solubility, and can effectively improve the flow stability of the system.

7. With excellent salt resistance, HPMC is a non ionic polymer that is relatively stable in aqueous solutions or organic electrolytes.

8. Thermal gelation: when the aqueous solution is heated to a certain temperature, it will become opaque until it is flocculated, which will completely make the solution lose its viscosity. However, it will change to the original solution state after cooling. For the problem of thermal gel, the temperature that occurs mainly depends on the product type, solution concentration, heating rate, etc.

10. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose HPMC has other characteristics in the field of daily chemical applications, including excellent film forming properties, as well as extensive enzyme resistance, dispersion, and adhesion properties.
